2.3  ANGULAR VELOCITY SENSORS MEASURING TRUNK SWAY

2.3.1  Trunk pitch

Trunk pitch is the direction the body sways in forward and backward directions. In order to measure this activity one SwayStar™ transducer is oriented to measure angular velocity deviations in the pitch plane.

2.3.2  Trunk roll

Trunk roll is an effect of the body swaying from side-to-side. In order to measure this activity another SwayStar™ transducer is oriented to measure angular velocity deviations in the roll plane.
